Public directory data

Only allowlisted business information is displayed. Private claimant identities, account emails, evidence, internal notes, scores, tokens, source snapshots, and private addresses are not public.

Private homeowner workspace

Your shortlist, comparison preferences, hiring checklist, contact-action reminders and private company notes are stored only in this browser, without an account. The workspace does not submit notes or saved search context to our server, analytics or companies. Comparison URLs contain company IDs only. The shortlist checks those IDs against current public listings to show company names and remove unavailable listings.

Use Clear private notes, Reset checklist or Clear shortlist to remove the corresponding saved information. Clearing the browser's site data removes the entire workspace. Browser storage may be unavailable, and clearing it or using another browser will not restore your workspace. Anyone using this browser profile may see your saved notes; use a trusted device.

Search and analytics

Search queries are not sent to third-party analytics. Local query logs are normalized, scrubbed, and retained only for limited coverage analysis. Raw IP addresses are not stored in analytics.

Claims and evidence

Claim evidence is stored outside the public web root, access controlled, and removed on the documented retention schedule.

Data sales

Consumer search and click data is not sold. Quote requests are not collected or resold.
